The newsletter coupons
Genuine, and worth signing up for. A weekly newsletter that carries discount codes. Most “discount code” pages for this market are invented, so a real programme is worth naming.
5 percent for paying irreversibly
Applies to Western Union, bank transfer or Bitcoin. None of them can be recovered. On a $1,200 watch you are accepting $60 to give up the ability to get $1,200 back.
Is there a trusty time coupon code?
Yes, and unusually for this market it is real rather than affiliate bait. The codes arrive by newsletter, so there is nothing to paste from a coupon site.
They cannot be combined
Worth knowing before you plan around it: Coupons cannot be combined with the 5 percent alternative-payment discount. So the choice is not “stack both”, it is one or the other, and the safe one is the coupon.
What actually moves the price here
Codes are the smallest lever in this market. Three things move a price further, and all three are conversations rather than fields at checkout:
- Ordering more than one piece. A second watch in the same parcel costs the seller almost nothing to ship.
- Being flexible on the factory. The same model from a different builder can be materially cheaper and barely different on the wrist.
- Asking. Prices in this market are not fixed, and nobody volunteers a lower one.
The discount nobody advertises
A warranty that covers the whole watch for two years is worth more than any percentage. If a bracelet fails in month nine, the code you used at checkout is irrelevant. The payment page sets out the arithmetic.
