Most trusty time reviews online are one buyer describing one parcel. That tells you whether a watch arrived, not what happens in month seven. These are the three things worth settling before you pay.
The three things to know first
1. The warranty is thinner than it sounds
6 months reads well until you read the scope: Movement only. Their own page excludes straps, crown, glass, bracelets. Those are the parts that wear on a watch worn daily, so in practice the cover applies to the one component least likely to fail first. Not covered unless the separate waterproofing service is bought at checkout.
2. Silence ships the watch
After QC photographs are sent you have 24 hours. The order is treated as approved and ships automatically. A missed email, a weekend, a holiday, and the watch is gone. Once QC pictures are issued the order cannot be cancelled, so this is also the last point at which you can stop.
3. A refund costs a quarter of the watch
25 percent restocking, applied at their discretion on most returns for refund. On a $1,200 watch that is $300 to change your mind.
What they do better than almost anyone
Two things, and both are real. They accept VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, JCB, Discover directly. And they publish timing tolerances by movement type rather than a single marketing number, which means you can hold them to a figure when the watch arrives.
